Michael Mullan was born in Chicago. He received a Masters of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. His career in art started as a graphic designer, but his lifelong passion for drawing led him to pursue a Masters in Illustration. Mullan uses digital media to create works that reflect his interest in folk art, mid-century simplicity, and design. Some artists that inspire him include Lisa Congdon, Dante Terzigni, Nate Williams, and Olaf Hajek. He currently lives and works in Vermont.
